Private Studio

Katie teaches private trumpet lessons to students of all ages and abilities, and trombone to beginners and intermediate levels of all ages.

She focuses strongly on tailoring lessons to each individual student. Working together, Katie and her students determine goals and how to reach them.

Her teaching balances brass technique with musical practice in any genre the student desires.

Katie’s students have been accepted as trumpet majors into Miami University, brass majors at Cincinnati’s School for Creative and Performing Arts, and won spots in various local and regional honor bands.
